Volunteers and Staff...
Our valuable volunteers help non-exclusively with the following types of
tasks:
 | Sorting food | |
| Setting up for distributions | |
| Unloading of trucks on delivery days | |
| Giving out distribution lists | |
| Helping clients collect their food | |
| Carrying food for the elderly/ disabled (when possible) | |
| Helping with minor maintenance |
Staff consists of the Coordinator, a part-time Assistant, a part-time
employee.
Between distributions, staff members order and stock food once it is
received. Many of the tasks requiring daily attention by employees include,
but are not limited to, the following:
 | Writing grants and thank you notes | |
| Giving educational presentations | |
| Planning and preparing for distribution days | |
| Attending meetings | |
| Scheduling appointments | |
| Receiving and sorting food donations | |
| Answering phone calls | |
| Recruiting volunteers | |
| Maintain and upgrade this website | |
| Cleaning and maintaining both facilities |
The Bookkeeper does all of the necessary financial tasks that are required
